Registration


Pick Up: Your name badge will be available for pick up at the conference registration desk inside ZINC from 7:30am, Tuesday 10th December. Only the registered attendee may pick up their registration.

Have your registration confirmation handy at the registration desk just in case we need to clarify any information.

The Livestream

The livestream will be embedded on the CCR homepage and CCR Down Under Meeting webpage. It will be freely available - no registration is required. Registration is only required if you wish to claim the 12 CPD points awarded by the College of Intensive Care Medicine of Australia and New Zealand.

Due to the Australian regulations and availability of childcare we are unable to provide an onsite service for this meeting. Cloakroom & Luggage Facilities

Cloakroom facilities are located in the Edge Foyer and will open early morning and during breaks. There will be instructions at the cloakroom on how to locate a staff member for all other times.

Recharge your Device

We have a networking and recharge station within the exhibition area at Zinc, grab a coffee, take seat and recharge your device.

Coffee

Our platinum partners are providing barista service coffee, tea and hot chocolate throughout the 2 days. You can find them situated on the Linet stand in the exhibition space and Device Technologies/Hamilton will be on the outside Deck one.

If you have provided a dietary requirement, these will be in a specific area within Zinc exhibition space and social function venues. Take the time to meet up with our sponsors and exhibitors, without them the meeting is not possible.

Feeding Room

A small room has been allocated on site at Zinc, please see the events team at the meeting for directions.

Live Music

CCR meeting has a reputation for great music and Melbourne will be no exception. Musicians from Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Orchestra will perform in the Edge from 0800 and during breaks within Zinc. At 0845, Ganga will deliver the Acknowledgment of Country, followed by a didgeridoo performance.

Parking

Fed Square’s multi-level car park is accessible via Russell Street or Batman Ave (Exhibition Street extension – City Link) – check out our map here. Russell Street exit may experience delays during busy periods. Exiting via the Batman Ave exit is recommended during busy periods.

Prayer Room

A Prayer Room is available at the venue, please see the events staff on site to direct you.

Public Transport

  • Tram: Federation Square is within Melbourne's Free Tram Zone, which covers areas from Queen Victoria Market to Victoria Harbour in Docklands, and up to Spring Street. Travel within this zone is free, but if you travel outside of this area, a myki card is required. Download the Free Tram Zone Map

  • Train: Flinders Street Station is located directly across from Federation Square, making it a convenient and accessible transit point. For train travel, you will need a myki card. Please visit the Public Transport Victoria Website to find out where and how you can purchase one.

  • Taxis & Pick up: The safest place to pick up and drop off passengers accessing the Main Square is the Taxi Rank on Swanston Street. For those visiting Deakin Edge, we recommend the Russell Street Extension for drop-off/pick-up.
