I just want to thank you and let you know about the impact your FOAMed has had on the career of one nurse. Prior to tapping into the amazing online learning opportunities I was a more or less average intensive care nurse starving for educational opportunities provided by lectures that I was usually unable to attend due to patient care responsibilities and conferences that I never made the time to attend due to cost and inconvenience.
I "discovered" the world of free open access medical education when a friend mentioned that I should check out a podcast three years ago. The impact of FOAMed was immediate and profound! I became and avid consumer and the effect of the high quality information and insight found in the FOAMed resources has been profound.
The quality of the care I provided improved immensely. My engagement at work increased and I began to be regarded as a leader on the unit. My happiness at work sky rocketed. I feel I transformed into a true healthcare professional.
Recently I accepted a position as a Flight Nurse. I honestly don't think that I could have realized this level of career advancement without FOAMed. Your generous sharing of knowledge and expertise matters! You have made a immeasurable impact on this nurse and I would like to most sincerely thank you for what you do.

It's a great educational tool indeed.

Just used the first of the CPD modules.
Good, useful, topical choice of article and pertinent questions focused on sensible objectives as opposed to "catching people out"
If only all on line CPD was this relevant.
As usual, I will be recommending to all.

Outstanding website and excellent use of open access literature.
This should be recommended by the FICM for CPD in ICU - it's certainly all I'll be using.

found out your website accidentally a month back and was surprised to find it so exhaustive and well put together . now I routinely check out your newsletters. If you could expand your exam section and give more information or probably have people share their experiences and give inputs about these exams it will be great .
the best part is it's free
great work rob !

The new format is first class - the content even better than before. I still tell everyone about your site. It is a shame it is not more widely known.

Keep up the good work.

I was impressed to see how much the website has progressed in the last few years. Keep up the good work!
As a suggestion, could the headings for each section (Aims, Paper of the day etc) on the home page directly link to the section? It might make it easier for the casual peruser to get where they want to go.
